Nikon D90. It’s official!

August 27, 2008

2804119394 e789d647d3 o Nikon D90. Its official!

The new Nikon D90 has been announced by Nikon. It has a CMOS sensor, went up to 12MP and a new feature called D-Movie which allows you to record HD video up to 720p at 24fps with sound. They also claim low noise up to ISO 3200. I hope so! It will be available by the end of the month. You can pre-order through Amazon or Ritz. Go HERE for all the details. Will keep you updated.

I’ve always wondered who made better cameras, Nikon or Canon, guess it all comes down to personal preference.

What would be a good starting DLSR? Found your blog via VADriven btw.

You are correct. It basically comes down to personal preference and convenience. I shoot with Nikon. Why? I like them. I like the controls and how they feel. I’ve heard a lot of people saying: “Ohh but Canon it’s better!” or “Nikon it’s way better than Canon”….
Buy a camera that feels right in your hands and buy something that you can upgrade easily and lenses and accessories are readily available.
If you’re new to photography, there are a lot of options for you out there. I’d say give Nikon or Canon a shot with their entry level DSLR’s like the Nikon D60 and Canon Digital Rebels. You will soon end up not wanting to get rid of whatever it is you choose. Good luck!
