Birthday Girl

September 21, 2009

Being a wedding photographer in Virginia Beach doesn’t mean I get to shoot only weddings. Of course not! That’s why I spent this last Saturday shooting Shea’s birthday party with my friend Jeremy Grieff. This amazing birthday party took place in aLoft Hotel in Chesapeake, Virginia. This was honestly one of the funnest (yes that’s a word) shoots I’ve ever done. Don’t get me wrong; I enjoy shooting all kinds of stuff including weddings. But with this birthday party there was none of the stress of getting “the shot” because there was no such thing. The only thing Shea told us…….. “make sure you get the shoes” and so we did. Everything else was a matter of catching people being themselves and having a great time like they sure did. Happy birthday and congratulations again to Shea, Clint and their beautiful family.

Amazing! You guys were so easy to not have to pose around. I love that you got the fun stupid fake poses (I’m a ham) but I LOVE LOVE LOVE the candids. I can’t wait to see what else you pulled out!! Thank you so much again, you guys were such gentlemen and really a pleasure to have around. Everyone raved about you guys.
