My name is Herson Rivera and I’m a wedding photographer in Virginia Beach. I own and manage ProPixel Photography which specializes in photojournalistic style wedding photography in Virginia.

 I have to admit that the passion for photography didn’t come to me as a child. I first started getting into photography when I started college back in 2000 and I’ve been shooting stuff and people since that day.

 What made me notice wedding photography was how complex and important weddings are. A photograph can speak for itself but when you’re able to interact with the people you’re taking the photos for, those photos become more than images. It’s like traveling back in time. Not only for the couple but for myself as well. It’s an accomplishment.
